Route description
The Russet Runners Marden 10k is a licenced, fully marshalled road race in and around Marden, Kent. The route is largely flat with some slightly undulating sections. There is a total elevation gain of 34m across the course. The route takes in many of the beautiful country lanes surrounding the village. Roads through Marden will be temporarily closed for the first 2km of the race. A water station will be provided at the half-way mark and at the finish line. We may add an additional water station on the course, in the event of very hot weather.
The Russet Runners Marden 10k is an accurately measured course, and holds a licence from England Athletics/Run Events.

Free Medal and T-shirt
All participants will receive a finisher's medal. Due to manufacturing deadlines, our free t-shirt offer ended on Monday 4th May. Limited t-shirts will be available for purchase on race day.

Additional information
The race may be entered in male, female and non-binary/other categories. However, prizes will be awarded in male and female categories only, in compliance with England Athletics guidance.
Under England Athletics rules, the minimum age for this race is 15 years on the day. All participants under the age of 18 will be required to bring a parental consent form. This will be sent to you in advance of the event day.
Headphones are not permitted at this event. The only exception to this is bone conductor headphones, which are permitted under England Athletics rules.

The Russet Runners Marden 10k is an independent race, organised by Russet Runners running club. It is fully licensed and distinct from any other running events which take place locally.
